I'm deeply passionate about non-profit work, fueled by a strong belief in collective action for societal good. Since achieving my MSc in War and Humanitarianism in 2021, I've been engaging in work with organisations through which I can make a real difference and empower communities.

Kurdistan Mental Health Project
I am a Trustee and volunteer for KR-UK-Impakt, an organisation powering the Kurdistan Mental Health Project (KMHP). The mission of the KMHP is to help overcome the psychological damage done to individuals and society over the past century in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). I am leading the digital and marketing efforts for the project and supporting long-term fundraising to secure the longevity of the programme.
Peckham Sponsors Refugees
From 2021 to 2023 I worked as a project coordinator and social media lead, for Peckham Sponsors Refugees, a community-driven initiative to integrate a vulnerable refugee family into Peckham through the Government’s Community Sponsorship Scheme. I delivered task management and promotion through digital and social channels to help the group achieve fundraising goals, as well as engaging with volunteers to support the refugees. The project was a great success, and the family is now settled safely in the UK.
