My Story

My journey into the world of digital started many years ago, more than I'd like to admit! After graduating with a degree in Journalism and Contemporary History, I secured a role in digital content writing where I learned the foundations of web experience, SEO, and honed my copywriting skills. Subsequently, I established my own award-winning blog 'Fashionology', through which I explored social media marketing and gained a first-hand understanding of influencer marketing.

Realising that social media was the future, I ventured into my first role at a digital agency, Edelman, successfully managing two global Unilever accounts: Dove and TONI & GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe. With valuable experience in best-in-class client management, content planning, campaign launches, reporting, and community management, I pursued my next opportunity in-house.

Over the four years that followed, I worked brand-side, initially at Burberry, where I oversaw the global planning, publishing of content, and prress-style reporting from live shows and events. With this experience in the luxury market, I moved to Monica Vinader, spearheading their social and influencer strategy. My comprehensive understanding of the brand and audience led to increased responsibilities, overseeing not only social and influencer programmes but also all email, web, and blog content.

My most recent role was at Khoros, a company that develops social media management software, where I headed the international team, supporting some of the world's largest brands in social media activation. The campaigns I led varied from launching new social media channels to overseeing community management for international live events, crisis management for leading regulated brands, and devising data-led strategies for brand success on social media.
